Liz’s work sits at the intersection of legal obligations, operational realities, and human sustainability. She brings deep expertise in PHS, disability management, and risk assessment to help employers respond to complex accommodation needs while maintaining fair, consistent, and defensible workplace practices.
Her previous roles include OHS Manager in unionized manufacturing environments; Senior OHS Consultant in Gowlings’ national OHS legal, consulting, and training practice; Project Manager for CSA Group’s OHS Program, where she led the development of the first edition of the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace and later contributed, in a volunteer capacity, to the second edition; and Senior Advisor, PHS, with the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
Liz’s approach is grounded in prevention, risk assessment, and management systems integration. She supports organizations in identifying early indicators of risk, understanding the scope and limits of accommodation over time, and designing work and attendance practices that reduce harm while meeting legal and operational requirements.
