Marcella Clarke is a seasoned Human Resources (HR) professional with over 25 years of progressive experience in labour relations, human resource management, and strategic leadership within Alberta Health Services and its predecessor entities. Currently serving as Senior Labour Relations Advisor in the new Health Shared Services Organization supporting the newly structured multiple Health Care Agencies across Alberta. Marcella plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic labour relations initiatives across the province.
Her extensive expertise spans a wide array of HR disciplines, including contract interpretation, conflict resolution, negotiations, performance management, recruitment, compensation, privacy, and workplace investigations. Marcella is recognized for her deep understanding of labour law and her ability to provide subject matter expert advice on complex labour relations matters.
Marcella’s career includes significant contributions to supporting Human Resources professionals, grievance management, and the arbitration process. She has worked closely with legal teams on human rights and arbitration cases and has led initiatives to improve service delivery through feedback-driven metrics and process optimization.
