Dave Bulmer is the president & Chief Executive Officer of AMAPCEO (A-map-see-oh), otherwise known as Ontario’s Professional Employees Union. Dave proudly represents 18,000 professionals who work across the Province of Ontario in 130 communities and in 10 countries worldwide. Dave is also a member of the Ontario Pension Board (OPB) where he sits as chair of the Governance and Human Resources Committee.
Dave lectures on Industrial Relations at several Ontario universities and is a frequent panelist at labour relations, human resources, academic, and think tank events. He regularly addresses progressive workplace relationships, alternative work arrangements, the workplace of the future, the impact of artificial intelligence, and the value of the public service.
Dave has an EMBA and ICD.D designation from U of T’s Rotman School of Management, was featured in Canada’ s Top 100 Professionals for 2023, and the recipient of the Pearson Centre for Public Policy’s Progressive Leadership Award in 2024.
