Alex Ognibene is an employment, labour, and human rights lawyer and the founder of Ognibene Law.
Alex advises and represents employers and employees in a broad range of workplace legal matters, including wrongful dismissal, human rights, employment standards, labour relations, occupational health and safety, and judicial review. He regularly appears before mediators, courts, and tribunals at both the provincial and federal levels.
Before founding Ognibene Law in 2025, Alex spent nearly a decade practising in leading labour and employment groups at two national full service firms in Toronto. He has been recognized as “One to Watch” in the 2025 and 2026 editions of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Canada for his work in Labour and Employment Law.
