Nisha Dhanoa, a Senior Associate at Hunter Liberatore Law LLP, graduated from Queen’s University and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2007.  She has 15 years of experience as a lawyer both in private practice and as in-house counsel. She spent over 10 years working as a prosecutor for two different professional regulatory bodies, prosecuting professional discipline cases for the Law Society of Ontario and for the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. As a prosecutor, she has litigated a wide variety of cases including both professional misconduct and capacity related matters before disciplinary tribunals and the Divisional Court. In her prosecutorial roles, she also offered strategic advice and direction during the regulatory investigative process. She has also spent time in private practice. She drew on her advocacy, litigation, regulatory, and administrative law experience when she joined a labour and employment boutique, advising both private sector and public sector clients on labour, employment, and human rights matters.
