Tim Nessim is a Labour Relations Officer at United Nurses of Alberta. He represents UNA and its members in all aspects of labour relations as well as in matters related to disability insurance, workers’ compensation, and professional regulation. He is also a PhD candidate at the University of Alberta, where his research focuses on labour and employment issues in corporate insolvency.
Tim studied law at McGill University, where he received the Elizabeth Torrance Gold Medal for graduating with the highest academic standing in his class. Before joining UNA, he worked as a union-side lawyer in private practice.
