Adam LaRoche is an associate in Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP’s Privacy and Data Management and Employment and Labour groups. Adam has extensive experience advising clients regarding provincial and federal privacy legislation and complaints made to privacy regulators, and has acted as lead counsel through federal and provincial inquiries and investigations.

Adam also assists clients in standing up privacy and data security programs, conducting tabletop training, and in responding to ransomware, cybersecurity, and other privacy and data related incidents. He is a Certified Information and Privacy Professional with the International Association of Privacy Professionals. 

Adam has extensive experience in workplace privacy matters, and continues to advise clients on general employment and labour matters, including merger and acquisition related work. He has appeared as lead counsel before courts in employment matters, and as counsel on judicial review of labour arbitration decisions, and in various interlocutory matters, including injunctions. Adam has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada, all levels of court in Alberta, and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
