Ali Mohamed holds a B.A. in Public Administration and Governance and an M.A. in Public Policy and Administration, both from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University).
With over 20 years of experience, Ali is dedicated to advancing disability inclusion and employment equity in both the public and private sectors. He currently serves as the Field Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Manager at Canada Post, where he acts as a regional subject matter expert on disability inclusion. In this role, he provides strategic guidance on HR policies, accessibility, accommodation, and legislative compliance. He also offers expert advice and support aligned with EDI Committee goals, corporate policies, accessibility and disability management frameworks, and relevant legislative requirements. Ali develops and oversees regional strategies and action plans to remove barriers and improve the representation of persons with disabilities.
Previously, Ali contributed to The Career Foundation, supporting employment initiatives for the disability community in the Greater Toronto Area and Hamilton. He also worked with LinkUp Employment Services, a Toronto-based non-profit empowering individuals with disabilities to secure meaningful employment.
As a person with a disability, Ali brings both lived experience and professional insight to his work, driving impactful change in the field of disability inclusion.
