After acquiring a J.D. from University of New Brunswick Law, Andrea was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2015. Following her articles with the Federal Department of Justice, Andrea joined a boutique labour relations firm, servicing clients across Canada. In 2018, Andrea branched out to build her own solo practice, MacNevin Law & Mediation, which was a conduit for Andrea to build out her workplace investigation and mediation practice.
Since Andrea joined Barteaux Labour and Employment Lawyers Inc. in March 2022, she has concentrated on building the firm’s investigation practice. Andrea’s investigation work focuses mainly on workplace investigations, but also includes conducting human rights, workplace safety, sports, and professional misconduct investigations.
