Brian G. Johnston, K.C. is a partner in the Halifax office of Stewart McKelvey. Through a wide-ranging practice, Brian acts as principal legal advisor to employers in virtually every industry and sector. Brian represents employers in court, before federal and provincial Labour Relations Boards, at arbitrations, as chief spokesperson in collective bargaining and in human rights proceedings. Active in the community, Brian is past chair of the Board of Regents of Mount Allison University, past director of the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers, and served the Canadian Bar Association in many capacities, including as president of its Nova Scotia branch.
