Brittany Keating is a partner at McInnes Cooper’s St. John’s office, specializing in labour, employment, and human rights law. Brittany represents employers in both provincially and federally regulated workplaces, advising them on a broad range of issues such as employee discipline and termination, accommodations in the workplace, human rights compliance, and collective agreement interpretation and administration. Brittany has represented employers in court, at labour arbitration hearings, before the labour relations board, and before the human rights tribunal. Brittany has been a chief negotiator on behalf of employers in collective bargaining. She is also a workplace investigator and has conducted investigations into harassment and discrimination complaints.
Outside her legal practice, Brittany is a wife and mother to a 3-year-old son. When not chasing a toddler around, she is a musician who enjoys playing guitar and attending live music events.
