Britt Skinner is a labour and human rights lawyer with 15 years of experience advocating for workers. Currently, Britt is the Director of Advocacy at the British Columbia General Employees’ Union (BCGEU) The BCGEU Advocacy department is one of the largest labour-side legal groups in BC, representing over 85,000 members in 550 bargaining units in the private sector and public services. As Director of Advocacy, Britt strategizes with senior leadership and her Advocacy team to advance workers’ rights, social justice and equitable labour practices.
