Carissa Tanzola is a partner at Filion Wakely Thorup Angeletti LLP and represents employers in all areas of labour and employment law. Carissa has expertise in workplace accidents and injuries, occupational health and safety, worker’s compensation, disability management, accommodation and human rigths. Carissa is an experienced litigator, investigator and former Vice Chair of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal.
Carissa is a co-author of the Employer’s Guide to Ontario Workplace Safety and Insurance (Carswell). She has been ranked in the Canadian Lexpert® Directory since 2021, has been included in the editions of The Best Lawyers in Canada™ for Workers’ Compensation Law included since 2022, and is recognized by Canadian Occupational Safety as a “5-Star Safety Lawyer”.
