Carolyn MacEachern is a partner with Young Anderson Barristers & Solicitors. Carolyn advises local government clients on all areas of law relating to the workplace, including general labour relations, employment and human rights law, and respectful workplace investigations. As part of her practice, she also conducts and supports collective bargaining negotiations for local governments.
Carolyn appreciates the unique labour and employment context in which local governments operate. She assists clients in crafting solutions that make sense for their particular community. Carolyn is a strategic thinker and strives to assist clients in finding practical and workable solutions that are cost effective and avoid unnecessary litigation and conflict.
Carolyn has represented clients in matters before the courts, as well as labour arbitrators, the Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal, the Workers’ Compensation Board, the Employment Standards Tribunal, and the Information and Protection of Privacy Commissioner.
