Cheri Hearty is the supervisor of the Worker Safety & Pension and Benefits Unit at Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU/SEFPO). With more than 20 years of experience in the pension and benefits industry she provides advice and education to members of the union, mentorship and support to other subject matter experts, and advocates for Defined Benefits pension plans to all who will listen. Ms. Hearty has served on several different pension plan and benefit boards of trustees; currently she is an OPSEU/SEFPO representative on the CAAT Pension Plan.
