Chris joined Ryder Wright as an associate in 2009 after articling with the firm in 2008-2009, and joined the firm’s partnership in 2015. Chris represents union clients, as well as employees in relation to employment matters, professional disciplinary matters, as well as human rights and workers compensation matters.

Chris has represented clients at numerous grievance arbitrations, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Workplace Safety & Insurance Appeals Tribunal, the Ontario Human Rights Commission, and the College of Nurses of Ontario. He has also appeared before the Divisional Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

At law school, Chris volunteered at Advocates for Injured Workers (AIW), a legal aid clinic specializing in workplace safety and insurance claims. Prior to law school.

Chris obtained an honours degree in criminology from the University of Ottawa, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While in Ottawa, he volunteered at an outreach and drop-in centre for homeless street youth in the downtown core of the city, and worked as a research assistant at Correctional Services Canada. As a junior hockey player, he participated in several international hockey tournaments in Europe.
