Dr. Chris Stewart-Patterson, MD has practised occupational medicine since 1989. He has provided occupational medical services to the City of Vancouver, B.C. Government Occupational Health Programs, Health Canada’s Workplace Health, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Skytrain, and Canadian Armed Forces, amongst other organizations.
Dr. Stewart-Patterson has lectured internationally on medical disability evaluation. He instructed for the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine lecturing on assessment of disability in workers. He has a past appointment as a senior clinical lecturer in occupational medicine at Wellington School of Medicine, University of Otago, New Zealand and has lectured at Harvard Medical School on the topic of disability evaluation.
He currently works at the B.C. Women’s Hospital Complex Chronic Disease Program where the majority of patients suffer from Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia.
