Cynthia Crysler is the leader of the Pensions and Benefits practice at Cavalluzzo LLP, representing plan administrators, unions, member groups, and individuals. She has extensive experience in pension and benefits law, governance, policy, and strategy, having worked exclusively in the pensions and benefits area for over 25 years.

She has worked within the Ontario government, held a senior leadership role at a large jointly sponsored public sector plan and provided advice to Ontario’s new pension regulator on strategic projects. She was counsel at the Ontario Expert Commission on Pensions, chaired by Professor Harry Arthurs.

Cynthia presents and writes widely on pensions-related issues. She holds an LL.B. from University of Western Ontario Law School and LL.M. from University College London, and is a solicitor of England and Wales, as well as a lawyer in Ontario.
