Dan Irving is an associate professor cross-appointed to the Feminist Institute of Social Transformation and the Institute of Interdisciplinary Studies at Carleton University. Located primarily in Transgender Studies, his research focuses on underemployment and unemployment among trans and non-binary people. He was co-principal investigator for a national project titled Working For Change: Understanding Employment Experiences of Two-Spirit, Trans and Non-binary people in Canada. His work has been published in Canadian Journal of Law and Society, Australian Feminist Studies, Radical History Review.
