Daniel Wilband’s practice has focused mainly on labour, employment, and human rights. Since 2016, he has represented both employers and employees in unionized and non-unionized workplaces, and has experience in collective agreement matters, constitutional law, complex negotiations, and human rights issues. Currently practising with VanBuskirk Law, he has practised labour and employment law in many settings, including as in-house counsel to a union local, and he appears regularly before courts and administrative tribunals. Daniel studied law at McGill University, was a clerk at the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and has taught the Labour Law course at Dalhousie University. He is a member of the Nova Scotia Bar and the New Brunswick Bar.
