David Tarasoff has practised labour law in B.C. since 1993. Following articles with a union-side labour law firm in Vancouver, he briefly worked as in-house counsel with two large public sector unions before embarking on many years in private practice, chiefly with Victory Square Law Office and Hastings Labour Law Office. He has represented clients in various sectors before the Labour Relations Board, boards of arbitration, and occasionally, the courts. He has very recently returned to an in-house counsel role with the Hospital Employees’ Union in Burnaby, thus demonstrating that you can, in fact, step into the same river twice.
