Named One to Watch by Best Lawyers, Edward (Ed) Snetsinger represents, advises, and advocates for employers on an extensive range of labour and employment issues, with a particular focus on collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, human rights, management training, and responding to union organizing. His practice also includes attendance management, collective agreement administration, labour and employee relations, interest arbitration, human rights and accommodation, mediation and alternative dispute resolution, privacy, workplace investigations, and wrongful and constructive dismissal litigation.
Ed is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, Canadian Bar Association and Ontario Bar Association (Administrative Law, Civil Litigation, Labour & Employment Law, Workers’ Compensation, Constitutional, Civil Liberties & Human Rights, Privacy and Access to Information Law).
Ed began his career with Sherrard Kuzz LLP as a law student, during which time he participated in a secondment with the Ontario Labour Relations Board. In university and law school, Ed received numerous awards for academic and sporting excellence, including winner of the 2013 Hockey Arbitration Competition of Canada, multiple Academic All-Canadian awards, MVP of the University of Windsor varsity golf team, and MVP of University of Toronto varsity hockey team. Prior to law school, Ed played two seasons of professional hockey.
