Erin Delaney is a solicitor for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador (GNL) who provides advice on all areas of labour and employment law, including disciplinary matters, workplace investigations, and disability management. During her time with the GNL, she has also represented the Employer in labour arbitrations and mediations and acted as Chief Negotiator in collective bargaining with various employee groups.
Prior to moving to Newfoundland, Erin worked as a government lawyer in Northern Canada, practising primarily labour and employment law. Erin has also worked in professional regulation and is a former Review Commissioner with the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Review Division of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. She has appeared at multiple levels of court and before a variety of administrative panels.
Erin holds a B.A. from Saint Mary’s University and an LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick. She was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2006, the Northwest Territories Bar in 2007, the Alberta Bar in 2012, and the Newfoundland and Labrador in 2018.
