George Filliter, K.C. served as the Chair of the Labour and Employment Board of New Brunswick for 12.5 years, the longest term of anyone. George has practised law since 1978, specializing in labour and employment law, administrative law and general litigation. In 1985, he obtained a Master of Laws degree from the London School of Economics with an emphasis on comparative labour law. In private practice, he represented labour and management appearing before several tribunals and all levels of court in the province. Since 2008 George has served as an arbitrator/adjudicator throughout the Atlantic Provinces and indeed in other parts of the country.
