Gurleen Sahota is a vice-chair with the British Columbia Labour Relations Board. Previously Gurleen worked as in-house legal counsel at the Health Sciences Association of British Columbia, a large trade union in B.C.’s healthcare sector. He was also an independent chairperson at Correctional Service Canada where he adjudicated federal inmate disciplinary issues, and previously worked as an associate lawyer practising labour, employment, and human rights law at Moore Edgar Lyster LLP.

Active in his community, Gurleen is a former member and vice-chair of the Delta Police Board, a former member of the B.C. Labour Board’s Collective Agreement Arbitration Bureau Joint Advisory Committee, former co-chair of the Canada Bar Association Labour Law Section (B.C. Branch), and he spent nearly a decade as a member of the Environment Advisory Committee at the City of Delta. Gurleen holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor’s Faculty of Law.
