Jan Borowy is the Pay Equity Administrator at the Canadian National office of United Steelworkers. She is a former partner at Cavalluzzo LLP where her practice areas included union-side labour relations, pay equity, and human rights. Jan regularly appears before the Ontario Labour Relations Board, labour arbitrators, the Human Rights Tribunal, the Pay Equity Tribunal, and appellant courts. She has argued for important pay equity and human rights cases. Prior to attending law school, Jan worked for many years as a trade union representative and community organizer.
Jan holds an M.A. in Canadian Politics from York University and an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School.
