Dr. Jane Storrie graduated with a PhD in Biopsychology from the University of Waterloo, and is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist in Ontario.

She is a founding partner of Storrie, Velikonja and Associates, a full-service psychological practice in Burlington, where her focus is on the assessment and treatment of first responders.

She served as Halton Regional Police Service’s Consultant Psychologist, and was involved in the development and launch of their Organizational Wellness Unit.  Dr. Storrie also provides consultation services to a number of police, fire, and EMS services across the province.  She has developed and provided training programs for psychologists interested in working with first responders on behalf of the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA).

Dr. Storrie is a former President of the OPA, the Canadian Academy of Psychologists in Disability Assessment (CAPDA), and the Hamilton Medical-Legal Society. She has been awarded Diplomate Emeritus status with the American Board of Disability Analysts (ABDA). Dr. Storrie retired after 25 years as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University.
