Jeanne Meyers is the Executive Director and general counsel of the Health Sciences Association of British Columbia (HSABC). She is also the Lead Negotiator for the Health Sciences Professionals Bargaining Association and has been counsel to the HSABC since 1990. Jeanne also maintains a private practice as counsel with Allevato Quail Roy, specializing in the areas of labour, employment, and human rights.
Jeanne has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia and has also appeared before both the trial and appeal divisions of the Federal Court of Canada. She has represented union members and clients before numerous administrative tribunals, including the Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal, and disciplinary panels of professional regulatory bodies, and has been a frequent speaker and panelist at legal conferences in the areas of employment, human rights, and privacy law. Jeanne holds an M.A. in Labour History.
