Jennifer Richards is Deputy Legal Director with the Treasury Board Secretariat, Legal Services Branch. Jennifer advises Ministry clients on a variety of labour and employment issues including discipline, dismissal, collective agreement interpretation, collective bargaining, and human rights matters involving, for example, the duty to accommodate, harassment, and discrimination. 

Prior to assuming her Deputy Director position, Jennifer was Counsel with TBS Legal in the Labour Practice Group. Jennifer has appeared before the Grievance Settlement Board, the Public Service Grievance Board and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. She has also appeared before the Ontario Labour Relations Board and various levels of courts, including the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, and the Court of Appeal. 

Jennifer received her law degree from the University of New Brunswick and was called to the bar in 2006. She articled with TBS Legal (formerly MGS Legal) and joined the branch as counsel after her call to the bar in 2006.
