Jeremy practices labour and employment law as an associate at Banister & Company. He has represented union clients and individuals before various administrative tribunals, including: labour arbitrations, the BC Labour Relations Board, Canada Industrial Relations Board, BC Human Rights Tribunal, Employment Standards Branch, Workers Compensation Appeal Tribunal, and Worksafe BC Review Division.
Jeremy enjoys participating in labour education and has done so for Lancaster House and at the Canadian Labour Congress’ Winter School. He has volunteered as an Ombudsperson for B.C. Hockey and on the board of directors at a housing cooperative.
Before attending law school, Jeremy served as Provincial First Vice President of the BC Ferry & Marine Workers’ Union. He holds a J.D. from the University of British Columbia and a B.A. Communications with First Class Honours from Simon Fraser University. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2017.
