Jessica Burke is a partner with the union-side, Vancouver labour law firm, Black Gropper. She provides legal representation to both public and private sector unions, acting as counsel at the B.C. and Canada labour boards, at grievance arbitration hearings, and in court. Jessica also provides strategic and policy advice on collective agreement administration, labour, human rights, and privacy law matters. She has delivered seminars and papers on issues covered by the B.C. Labour Relations Code, on harassment law, equality law, attendance management, and the duty to accommodate. Jessica is a past Chair of the Labour Sub-section of the B.C. Branch of the Canadian Bar Association, and served on that Sub-section Executive for a number of years.
