Jessica Derynck has been in-house legal counsel at the Health Sciences Association of British Columbia since 2014. Her practice focuses on research and writing. Previously, Jessica worked at a law firm in Vancouver representing unions and employees. Jessica has represented clients at arbitrations, before the B.C. Labour Relations Board and the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal, in court on judicial reviews, and in issues with their professional regulatory bodies. She provides advice on human rights and accommodation issues and has contributed to the Human Rights Law Conference of the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia.

Jessica holds an LL.B from the University of Victoria (2009). She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2010.
