Jessica Gregory is an arbitrator, mediator, and investigator who has been involved in labour relations for more than two decades. Her career spans both the public and private sector including work in the health, food, transportation, emergency response, forestry, mining, marine, social services, hospitality, and manufacturing sectors. Prior to becoming a neutral, Jessica had a balanced litigation career. She represented public sector employers across British Columbia as the Executive Director of Legal Services & Human Resources for Community Social Services Employers’ Association (CSSEA). In that role, she coordinated legal and collective bargaining strategies (provincial and local) while managing an active team of lawyers and human resources professionals.
Prior to CSSEA, Jessica represented public and private sector trade unions including several years as in-house counsel for the Industrial, Wood, and Allied Workers of Canada (IWA Canada) and the United Steelworkers. Jessica has presented at numerous training workshops, educational seminars, and law conferences. For several years, she instructed Civil and Administrative Law for the Law Enforcement Studies program at the Justice Institute of B.C.
Jessica holds a J.D. from the University of British Columbia and a B.A. in Economics from Simon Fraser University. She was called to the B.C. Bar in 1998
