John McNamee has been an arbitrator and mediator since 2007. He is a graduate of Concordia University (B.A. 1973) and Osgoode Hall Law School (LL.B. 1977). Following his call to the bar in 1978, he practiced labour law full time for 29 years as a partner in a small firm, and as counsel to a trade union. He also taught labour law for two years as a part-time instructor at Humber College, and served as chair of the Board of Directors of one Labour Sponsored Venture Capital Corporation and as a member of the board of directors of another.
