Kami Ramcharan is a dedicated advocate for employment equity and has continued to support efforts to achieve a fair, and representative federal public service since 2006. She has had a substantive impact, both as former public servant and now as a consultant to champion diversity, inclusion, and fairness.

She began this journey when she was the Director General, Diversity in the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer of the Federal Public Service and has worked to dismantle barriers and biases that hinder the advancement of underrepresented groups.
More recently, she was a member of the Employment Equity Act Task Force Review, playing a pivotal role in shaping the advice presented to government for changes to the Employment Equity Act.

Kami continues to be a respected voice in the field, sharing her expertise through speaking engagements and consulting, leaving an enduring legacy of progress and inclusivity in the world of employment equity.
