Kieran Meehan was called to the B.C. Bar in 2019 and practises labour, human rights, administrative, constitutional, and professional regulatory law.
Kieran is a staff lawyer at the BC Teachers’ Federation (BCTF), where he provides legal advice and representation to local unions and members across British Columbia. Before joining the BCTF, Kieran was an associate at a leading union-side law firm in Vancouver where he built his practice in labour and employment law. Prior to that, he worked as counsel with the Department of Justice, Tax Law Services Division, where he also completed his articles. He has appeared before various administrative tribunals and courts, including as lead counsel before the Federal Court of Appeal.
Kieran enjoys taking his dogs on walks to the beach, reading books on history and politics, and tinkering with computers and electronics in his spare time.
