Kimberly Boara Alexander practises career law. Acting for executives, partners, officers, directors, and shareholders at times of opportunity, transition, change, and crisis in their careers, Kimberly guides and represents her clients through negotiation, planning, and dispute resolution using alternative mechanisms and at all levels of court in Ontario.

Kimberly advises individuals on employment contracts, compensation plans, and partnership agreements, parties’ obligations upon departure, and on their rights, duties, and remedies in cases of wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, workplace investigations, oppression and expulsion, human rights violations, harassment, interference with economic and contractual relations, breach of contract, fiduciary duties, and director liabilities.

Kimberly founded KBA Partners LLP after more than 11 years at one of Toronto’s premier litigation boutiques. She is committed to teaching, community involvement, and philanthropy. Kimberly was an instructor for the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Licensing Program, has served as an Articling Principal, a moot supervisor for students at the University of Toronto, a coach and advisor with the Law Society of Ontario’s Coach and Advisor Network, a volunteer for Pro Bono Ontario, and has lectured at educational programs offered by the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, Osgoode Professional Development, the Advocates’ Society, the ADR Institute of Ontario, and the Law Society of Ontario. She was also a founding trustee of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada Foundation and a founding member of Margaret’s Circle-Women in Leadership and Philanthropy supporting the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
