Kristen Woo (she/her/hers) is B.C. Public School Employers’ Association’s (BCPSEA) in-house counsel for grievance arbitrations, labour board hearings, and related processes. She also advises BCPSEA and public school districts on matters relating to collective agreements, arbitration awards, and legislative and regulatory provisions. Prior to working at BCPSEA, Kristen practised labour, employment, human rights, and privacy law at Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP and served as Director of the Human Rights Office at Simon Fraser University. She has experience with disputes before labour arbitrators, the B.C. Labour Relations Board, the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal, the B.C. Employment Standards Branch, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, and all levels of court in British Columbia.
