Laura Johnson is a partner at Ryder Wright Holmes Bryden Nam LLP (RWHBN) who has extensive experience representing trade unions and their members in all areas related to labour and employment law. Laura regularly represents workers and trade unions in grievance arbitrations, before labour boards and human rights tribunals, and in professional regulation matters before regulatory colleges.
In addition to her expertise in labour law, Laura practises in the areas of pension law, regulatory compliance, pay equity, elections law, and legislative reform. Laura has also represented trade unions in Charter litigation at various levels of court.
Prior to joining RWHBN, Laura garnered over a decade of experience working in house for trade unions, representing both public and private sector employees in provincial and federal jurisdictions.
Laura is a graduate of McGill University and the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Law. She was called to the Bar in 2010.
