Leanne is currently a member of Fasken’s Labour, Employment and Human Rights group in Vancouver. She works with her clients in each of these areas, but she has a particular interest in assisting clients with human rights matters. She provides counsel and guidance on issues of discrimination and accommodation and regularly assists clients with responding to human rights complaints. Leanne has appeared before all levels of court and various commissions, tribunals and boards.
Leanne obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta. She also has a Master of Laws from the University of College London where she completed her thesis on how social media interferes with the right to freedom of thought. Before joining Fasken, Leanne was an associate at a regional law firm in Edmonton.
