Lindsay Waddell is a partner at Moore Edgar Lyster LLP, where her practice focuses on labour, human rights, and professional regulatory law. Before joining the firm in 2015, she practised as a human rights lawyer at a non-profit society, where she represented complainants in hearings before the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal and in judicial reviews and appeals of Tribunal decisions.
Before joining the non-profit world, Lindsay practised at a small litigation boutique and at a large national firm. She has a wide variety of litigation experience and has appeared as counsel at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada. Lindsay speaks frequently to different audiences on a wide range of human rights and equality-related subjects.
Lindsay holds an LL.B. from the University of Manitoba and a B.H.K. from the University of British Columbia. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2002.
