Marjorie Savoie has been working for the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) for over two decades in a variety of positions. In her current role as a bilingual mentor for the Ontario region, she helps support other labour relations representatives succeed in their day-to-day work. From arbitrations to bargaining and anything in between, she makes sure her colleagues are equipped with the right tools and resources to effectively represent members in labour and employment matters. She has represented employees and local unions before arbitrators, providing services related to collective agreement interpretations, labour relations, workplace policies, discipline and discharge, and a variety of other labour and employment issues and now shares her knowledge and experience with the next generation of union representatives.
