Mark conducts grievance arbitrations and mediations of civil employment cases and human rights claims.
Mark has over 25 years of experience in alternative dispute resolution as a mediator and adjudicator, and over 30 years of experience dealing with human rights, employment and labour issues.
From 2007 to 2019, Mark was a Vice-Chair at the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, where he conducted hundreds of mediations and hearings primarily in the employment and labour sectors.
Mark has spoken extensively on human rights, employment, mediation, and active adjudication issues, and has taught on these issues at Osgoode Hall Law School and the Society of Ontario Adjudicators and Regulators. While in practice, Mark was regularly recognized on L’Expert as a leading practitioner in workplace human rights.
Mark holds an LL.B. and a B.A. from the University of Toronto. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1988.
