Matt Yun is an in-house lawyer with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), working in the B.C. Regional Office in Burnaby, B.C. CUPE represents workers in a variety of public and private workplaces including the municipal, health care, public school district, post-secondary education, community social services, library, and transportation sectors. Matt holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in biochemistry from Queen’s University and a LL.B. in law from the University of British Columbia. He has been practising law since being called to the B.C. bar in 1996 and has worked at CUPE since 2005. His assignment includes litigating union collective agreement grievance arbitrations, B.C. Labour Relations Board matters, and B.C. Human Rights Tribunal Complaints.
