Meg Steele is a recovering lawyer with over 20 years’ experience specializing in labour, employment, human rights, and collective bargaining.

Meg is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer with the Ottawa Police Service, where she has the great privilege to lead a group of professionals who deliver a full range of programs that maximize workforce potential and deliver excellent service.

Meg holds a B.A. (Hons.) in English and Political Science from Mount Allison University (1996) and a B.C.L/LL.B. from McGill University’s National Program (2000). She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002.
