Megan Reid is a partner at Dewart Gleason LLP. She joined Dewart Gleason in 2012 after practising for several years as counsel for the Air Canada Component of CUPE, which represents airline flight attendants.
Megan is an accomplished labour lawyer, with experience practising before courts as well as arbitrators and labour relations boards. She has extensive experience litigating a broad range of issues, and she represents unions in collective bargaining and in interest arbitrations.
Megan serves on the board of directors of a private foundation and a non-profit. Fluent in French and English, she previously worked in Parliament, and she has served as an advisor to the provincial government on access to education issues. Megan was awarded a Governor General’s Award in Commemoration of the Persons Case for her work promoting the advancement of women’s equality. She has also taught Advanced Labour Law at the University of Toronto.
