Michael Gillingham practises in the area of union-side labour law and insurance defence at Martin Whalen Hennebury Stamp. His labour practice has consisted chiefly of representing trade unions in the construction industry. He has also represented union clients in other sectors before tribunals and various levels of court.
Michael is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and a member of the liaison committee between the Bar and the Newfoundland and Labrador Labour Relations Board.
Michael holds a B.A. in English from the Memorial University of Newfoundland (2008) and a J.D. from the University of New Brunswick (2012). He was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 2013.
