Mike MacLellan is a lawyer for employers advising in all aspects of labour and employment law. He joined Crawford Chondon & Partners LLP in 2010 and has appeared as an advocate at the Ontario Labour Relations Board, numerous labour arbitration boards, the Ontario Grievance Settlement Board, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and various provincial courts. He has advised employers on a wide array of legal matters, including responding to union certification applications and sale of business/related employer applications, construction industry matters arising under the Labour Relations Act, and complaints under the Canada Labour Code.
Mike also has a robust practice in conducting workplace investigations covering subject matters such as allegations of discrimination, workplace harassment, workplace violence, and toxic work environments, and gets great satisfaction from helping client restore a healthy and harmonious workplace.
Mike holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Psychology and Law and Society from York University (2006) and an LL.B. from Western University (2009). He is a member of the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Law Society of Ontario, and The Advocates’ Society.
