Mireille Mortimer is the founder and principal of Mortimer Khoraych PC, a workplace investigations law firm. Mireille’s practice focuses on conducting complex, multi-faceted and highly sensitive investigations in a broad range of workplaces and institutions. She has conducted investigations into hundreds of claims relating to harassment, sexual harassment & violence, bullying, workplace violence, discrimination (including unconscious bias, micro-aggressions, and racism/Anti-Black Racism) equity, and other policy breaches. Mireille is also a regular speaker and trainer at various conferences and continuing education programs. Prior to establishing Mortimer Khoraych PC, Mireille practiced at a preeminent national labour and employment law firm for over a decade, where she advised and represented clients on all aspects of the employment relationship. She has appeared before labour arbitrators and administrative tribunals (including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario) and appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal as lead counsel. Mireille completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Toronto and is called to the Ontario Bar. She holds a certificate from the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) having completed their Intensive Training Institute, as well as a certificate in Administrative Investigations from the Ontario Ombudsman. Mireille is a member of the Government of Canada’s Workplace Harassment and Violence Prevention Regulations Roster of Investigators; AWI; the Canadian Bar Association; and the Ontario Bar association.
