Naheed Yaqubian is a litigator at the Ontario Nurses’ Association’s Toronto office, where she practises labour and human rights law. She is the former chair of the Equity and Inclusivity Advisory Committee at the York Region District School Board and a previous founding board member of a nationwide organization of lawyers that provides pro bono services to Canadians seeking to welcome refugees to Canada. She was also a candidate in the 2018 Ontario Election.
Naheed has an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McMaster University and a law degree from Queen’s University.
